Sometimes things happen in life that make you re-organise your priorities. I very nearly lost one of the closest people in my life to a stroke last night so I don’t think I’ll be coming back with a finished pilot by the end of June - assuming that was gong to happen anyway, with my motivation - but I thank you all for your patience while I get my life affairs in order.

I was wondering if you had seen Primer and if so had any thoughts on the parts that weren't about having the most complicated time travel plot imaginable. Or in other words the part where the characters reacted to having such a device etc.
I thought it was handled very well in Primer. Even I was pretty lost at the time travel plots - the guy who made it is an engineer and apparently wrote the script for his own insane amusement - but I can’t say that Primer is very comparable to Chronicle as movies go. If I were pinned down on the subject, though, they discover the abilities, ramifications, and eventually side-effects, of their power to manipulate time.
Chronicle plays it out like a jackass video; Primer is more like, what would really happen if you realised, shit, I can alter history. The guys take it a little more seriously.

Out of my blogs, I will only be posting to the Slunk Dump as I will be pumping out quite a lot of art soon and possibly some reviews on Movie Magicks if I want to let off some steam, but I’m specifically making an effort to avoid anything Tumblr-related outside of that during this time. I will also be unavailable on IM services of any kind, so if you want to contact me, shooting through an email is your best bet. If you don’t have my email address already, no offense but I probably don’t want to be distracted by you. Otherwise I guess just shoot through an ask but don’t expect me to get back to you soon as Tumblr is pretty much a dead zone for now.
The upshot of all this is that I ought to come out the other side of it with a full portfolio of new work, some finished/redone oldies and most importantly, my pilot, as well as getting my business officially up and running. It’s gametime, ladies and gentlemen, and I’ve just been called up to bat.
